Why Do We Bother??

I am sick and tired of being sick and tired and have come to realize that Suicide is an option.  In today’s world a very viable option to end personal pain, struggle, and hopelessness. We watch as the world around us falls apart, cities being burned to the ground, babies killing babies, mothers with no way to feed their children, and whole communities suffering and struggling just to make it day to day. No money, no jobs, no education available to provide even the smallest bit of hope. Homelessness is rampant yet hundreds of buildings in every city across the nation sit empty and abandoned. Health Care so outrageously priced that it can only be afforded by the wealthy and those already on government assistance.  And these are just a few of the atrocities being suffered at the hands of the government on

top of the monstrosity of loss from natural disasters and the secret shame and individual destruction of children worldwide from rape and abuse. People often ask why does god let bad things happen, but I say what makes you let bad things happen; what gives you the right to sit on your throne in judgement of others eating your steak and lobster while others can’t afford to wipe their asses?? How many of us have had to go into gas station bathrooms to steal toilet paper?! I have, and more than once!! God has nothing to do with the way we treat each other.  This little mud ball we call earth Provides us with everything that we need to sustain every human life.  It is greed and unjustified self-righteousness that is the destruction of man.

And it’s only man’s love that can get us through at this point. Do you already run a peer support group? Are you someone who would sit on the phone with a stranger to do all you could to talk him out of it?
