‘According to a recent Reuters report, the U.S. Department of Defense spent about $93.4 billion in September 2025 alone, one of the largest single-month spending totals in recent years. For comparison, Sen. Bernie Sanders’ proposal to make public colleges tuition free nationwide was estimated to cost about $70 billion per year. That means the Pentagon’s spending in just one month exceeded the annual cost of free public college under Sanders’ plan. The money to help Americans is there. The political will is not. Your politicians aren’t working for you.’
