“My own personal experience with FNB-HOBART.
This is easily the geographically furthest organization that we as child advocacy activists work with from northern Illinois USA. At the same time we have such a close kinship in our deep rooted beliefs that food is a human right, not a privlage.
One day while i was the moderator on this page i shared a story from our official website of my own childhood trauma. It was honestly only one of the stories from my past that resulted in a diagnosis of CPTSD. I was very triggered by events that day and struggleing with some things in my past specifically what had happened to me as a child. I posted it on my personal account as well as the NMV page.
The first reply to me, from any, one, single, account was all the way from Tasmania.
Soon other replies came on my personal account but theres somthing else is important to mention…… Two words came in that message from the other side of the planet that meant somthing that not one can understand without being a childhood survivor of SA.
Just two words from a person that I never met in person who was approximately 9,680 miles (about 15,580 kilometers) away from me.

Thank You, Food Not Bombs Hobart Tasmania
Thank you for what you did for me personally and what you for your community.
Thank you for being your brothers keeper. You’re living proof that good people are on that part of this blue marble also.
