First of all if you are here I want to start with a sincere apology for whatever you may be struggling through, I promise it does get better and you are not alone. Every child deserves a childhood, and all deserve to be safe and loved and protected, even if it has to be done by strangers because our family has failed us. You see I was one of those kids that despite no matter how many times my parents were reported to child services they beat the charges and the abuse just kept getting worse. I started my countdown to turning 18 and being able to move out somewhere in the 1800-day range. If I had known then the things I know now my life would have been a lot easier. The thing to know is that there is actually A LOT of help available to abused, abandoned, runaway, homeless and at need youth. No parents needed. You don’t have to wait until you’re 18 to deserve a safe life. ❤️
So for now this is my umbrella page for youth emergency resources and information and a list of things to come.
National Crisis Lines & Immediate Help
You don’t have to wait until things get worse to ask for help. You don’t have to be an adult, and you don’t have to have a parent make the call for you. You can reach out yourself.
Whether you’re being hurt at home, thinking about running away, struggling with depression, experiencing abuse, or simply don’t know where to turn, these organizations are here to help.
If you are in immediate physical danger or need urgent medical attention, call 911. If calling isn’t safe or possible, try to get to a safe public place and ask someone you trust for help.

A few important things to know
- You can contact these organizations yourself. You don’t need a parent to make the first call.
- You can ask about confidentiality and reporting requirements before sharing your name or identifying information. Rules differ between organizations and situations.
- If your phone or internet activity is monitored, consider whether it’s safe to call, text, or visit a website from that device.
- If one organization can’t help, ask them to connect you with someone who can.
And this is the plan… here is a list of topic pages that I plan on making individually to be listed on this page. Each topic page will have listings by either state and major cities or state and counties where applicable. It’s going to take a while for it all to come together, and some of these topics may be combined, eliminate or added on to, this is just where I’m starting.
