Bridge of empathy and growth

“We can grow to make the choice to refrain from dehumanizing people just because we don’t like their differences or because of small mistakes that every human makes. We can leave room for people to grow and to make mistakes. We can choose to not be a blood thirsty piranha tearing down people to get ourselves “fed”. I’m seeing way too many ableist statements lately. “My peers who do this are stupid because (insert petty reason here)”. Who benefits while we are looking for petty reasons to come after people? There is a serious lack of empathy and understanding. So much ableism in much of our community and that needs to change. Evolution before revolution. Enough with the toxic soft power structures.
