A man walks down the street with a cocky smile and a confident swagger. He tipped his hat to his sister’s husband and boasted loudly “brother in law! I have such amazing things ahead of me! I’m going big places you know! I’m going to be a very wealthy man! A very smart wealthy man!”
His brother in law hung his head in shame. “Leave me alone. I’m just going go fishing to catch our dinner so we can eat. I don’t want your money” But the first man mocked him saying that he would find one fish that would make his fortune and he would never have to work or fish for food again. His brother in law chuckled. “No such thing exists” he said to the man.
They parted ways and the man went to the spot to make his fortune come true
He peered into the murky water and called out “magic talking fish come forth! I command you!”
At first nothing. Then suddenly bubbles started to appear on the water and just as the prophecy told him, A magical golden coi fish rose from the water. He asked are you thr magic talking fish?”
The fish opened his mouth and uttered aloud “Naw man that ain’t me. That’s my Cousin Rodney. Im bit even from here bro, im just here on vacation man. I’m from the South side of Chicago.”
So the man said “ok sorry ” and went back home.
