Hardcore raw entertainment, that’s what the 3CW is all about. I attended my first show on Oct. 2nd, and I guess I picked the right night to attend, cuz it was a hell of a show. It was blood, sweat and tears night, and believe me, they delivered all of the above. From the ever bloody Dickey Williams and the hot performance of Nemesis, to the tears of defeat as Gavin Alexander was robbed of his title in a humiliating smack down after his match from 3cw favorite Chuck Diamond.
This having been my first show, I was really impressed and thoroughly entertained. Granted some of the guys are new and some of the acting a bit cheesy, but it’s all part of the fun. These guys give it their all, and believe me it’s not as fake as most would like to believe. The falls are harsh, the blows are brutal, and the blood and bruises are far from show.
After this production, and most of the others I attended after this one, most of the performers walked away limping, hunched over, welted, bloody and/or bruised. In fact after this particular show I escorted Gavin Alexander to the ER where he had to be treated for a blood clot in his leg that was caused by repeated injury.
Well it’s choreographed you say… Like hell it is. After my first show I hung around and eventually got involved in helping out with the shows, and I learned quite a bit. Moves are practiced, for the sake of safety. They are taught by people who know what they are doing, and for the most part are not executed unless they are properly learned. But when it comes to the matches, nothing is pre-written but the story line and most matches are made up as they go along.
OH, and AHHH, the story line. The male, testosterone driven version of days of our lives! As a woman I find it silly, but it’s definitely what keeps the fans coming back for more. From the heckling of the audience, to the commentation and the promos, they take this aspect of the show very seriously. And I having dubbed myself their official press, have been sworn to secrecy. I am not allowed to use real names of the performers at any time so as to keep the story as real as possible.
The audience and the fans really get into the action as well. The best hecklers the 3cw has, are Donovan Taylor and Pat McGroin. When it comes to working an audience, there aren’t many better.
Loud music, costumes, theatrics, and bloody, brutal, hard core entertainment that is also kid friendly.
What more could ya ask for!?

This is a great write-up on the 3CW show! Local indy wrestling really does have an energy that’s hard to match anywhere else. The way you captured the raw authenticity of the night, from Dickey Williams’ intensity to the controvertial finish for Gavin Alexander, really brought it to life. It’s the unpredictability and passion that keeps fans coming back. Thanks for sharing this, made me want to check out a local show myself!
